As the default assault rifle in Vanguard and Warzone Pacific, the STG44 was built from the ground up as a well-balanced weapon. The stock version of the STG44 is fine, but can be significantly improved with just a few accessories. Our best-in-class STG44 gear combines power and accuracy with ease of use, giving you a primary weapon that works well in the hands of a novice or seasoned pro. Many of its meta attachments have received buffs starting in Season 3, which improve damage range and bullet speed and make the STG44 even more effective.

Cooper carbine

Our best long-range Cooper carbine gear uses newly upgraded accessories in Warzone Season 3 to transform this assault rifle into a ranged monster. This assault rifle is especially devastating when shooting at multiple enemies thanks to its incredible control stats, which make it easy to sprint at your next target.

Strong guns usually have the handicap of being inaccurate, but that doesn’t seem to be the case with BAR’s best loadout. BAR has arguably the worst rate of fire on this list, however, each bullet hits enemies like a truck. Load this weapon with accessories to reduce its heavy recoil and you can build yourself an assault rifle that can easily take out enemies.

The Black Ops Cold War series XM4 assault rifle in Warzone

After the XM4 received some much needed upgrades, it has become one of the most versatile weapons in the entire game. The XM4 is an excellent option for gamers looking for a powerful weapon at all ranges. Check out our best XM4 equipment guide to see how you can build this amazing assault rifle.

Black Ops Cold War continues to receive new weapons coming to Warzone Pacific every season, including the easy-to-use Vargo 52. This assault rifle is super easy to control, but lacks the firepower to be up there with heavy shots. However, if you are looking for a low recoil weapon, the Vargo 52 is an excellent choice.

The Automa may have been nerfed shortly after Warzone Pacific’s launch, but that failed to keep this awesome assault rifle down. What makes the Automaton’s best loadout so deadly is its lack of recoil, even when firing from a distance. This weapon is a marksman’s best friend as it barely produces recoil, although the best automaton loadout must be used.

The Cold War AK-47 in the Call of Duty: Warzone preview menu

AK-47 (Cold War)

The Cold War version of the AK-47 has it all: power, control and mobility. As a support weapon for snipers, there is probably no better weapon than the Cold War AK-47. If you want to get the most out of this weapon, check out our best Warzone AK47 gear to see the true potential of the gun.

The AS44 looked set to dominate upon entering Warzone Pacific thanks to its lightning-fast rate of fire, but the stock AS44 was simply too difficult to control. Fortunately, the changes made to the weapon in Warzone Pacific season 3 reduced the weapon’s initial recoil and improved its maximum damage range to make it a threat once again.

This Warzone assault rifle is a beast in multiplayer and this is still true in Warzone. Hardly any recoil can be reduced to zero recoil with a couple of accessories, the iron sights are so good you don’t need a scope, you can drop a 60-round magazine on it and top it all off with a monolithic suppressor for keep you off the radar. High rate of fire, solid damage profile and easier recoil to control. Never. Check out our M4A1 loadout for Warzone to get the best out of this AR.

The FARA 83 has been in a fantastic position since the launch of Warzone Pacific, combining ease of use with impressive damage output. Think the same way as the STG44, but with better long-range damage. If you’re looking for a great assault rifle to take down medium to long range enemies, check out our best FARA 83 gear.

The C58 has well-balanced stats across nearly all categories, making it an easy weapon to pick up for the first time. Using our best C58 gear, the only thing you need to watch out for is its slow rate of fire compared to other assault rifles. This makes it slightly more difficult to take out enemies at close range, but that’s not a problem since the C58 wasn’t built for close range combat.

The stock CR-56 AMAX assault rifle in the Call of Duty: Warzone preview menu

The CR-56 AMAX takes the most damage of assault rifles like Scar and AK-47 and rolls with more manageable recoil and faster rate of fire. Basically, her magazine capacity can be extended far beyond that of Oden and Scar, making her viable for team fights. Despite receiving a nerf recently, this assault rifle is still worth including in your gear. Try our CR-56 AMAX Warzone setup for high damage, decent range performance, and recoil that won’t send half your shots skyward.

The AFFAR 1 is an excellent option as a sniper support weapon due to its mobility stats that make it lethal at close range. Use our best FFAR 1 gear to take out enemies up close, just like some of the best SMGs. This weapon can handle enemies at medium range, but it is worth equipping the best Kar98k gear to take on any opponent from a distance.

The stock NZ-41 is the most powerful assault rifle in the game, but this comes at a cost: poor mobility and recoil control. Fortunately, you can make a number of key changes in the gunsmith to address these issues by strengthening the strength of the weapon. With the best NZ-41 gear, you can take down enemies with just four bullets, and if you can deliver headshots, it only takes two hits to knock someone over.

The stock version of the Volk in the Call of Duty Warzone Pacific preview menu

The stock version of the Volk barely resembles the monster we can create using the gunsmith. Equip the right accessories to transform this assault rifle into a highly mobile weapon, more like an SMG. Use the best Volk gear to instantly shoot your opponents as soon as you see them thanks to the Gung-Ho advantage, giving you the ability to shoot while running. Season 3 introduced a smaller set of buffs for the Volk, making it slightly more effective in medium range combat, but it is even more at home in CQB scenarios.

Don’t let the stock version of the EM2 fool you into thinking this gun is not worth your time. When set up with the correct accessories, the EM2’s poor low aiming speed can be dramatically improved, making the pistol immediately usable. Try the best EM2 gear to understand what makes this weapon so special.

Nikita AVT

Season 3 introduces Warzone Nikita AVT’s best loadout, boasting solid time-to-kill provided you can control the recoil. Its default rate of fire is among the fastest in the AR category, and like both the AS44 and the Volk, this weapon is best when you take it to the gunsmith and equip it like a machine gun.

The best configuration of the Grau Warzone class

GRAY 5.56

The Grau is remarkably easy to use with almost no recoil, high bullet speed, and low damage drop over long ranges. Roll these qualities along with the best Grau gear for Warzone and you’ve got an AR that can hold its own in all situations and you can use it without having Shroud-like aim.

The Grav was introduced in the sixth season of Warzone, just before players had a chance to say goodbye to Verdansk for the last time. It is fair to say that the Grav is underused due to its lack of range. When used as an SMG, the Grav can be destructive up close, but the same cannot be said from a distance.

Outbreak of ITRA

The balance of weapons in Warzone Pacific is fantastic when you consider the number of guns in the game, that being said, there are always some weapons falling through the cracks. The Itra Burst falls into this category as it has no distinctive features that separate it from the rest of the assault rifles. Unless this weapon receives a large buff, there is hardly any reason to use it unless you are looking for a challenge.

In July 2021, the state of California filed a lawsuit against Activision Blizzard for alleged years of discrimination and harassment in the workplace. The story has since involved CEO Bobby Kotick and prompted the US federal government to open an investigation. It continues to develop and be of immense importance to the gaming industry. You can catch up on all the developments so far in this regularly updated explanatory article.
